WOW, I would just like to give an online testimony about what God's been doing around here!
First, JEFFREY GOT HOME!!!! YEA!
Second, Daddy finished his radiation treatments---YE-HAW!We're desperately hoping that these treatments had the desired effects!Third, the First Annual Youth Convention was just held at Bro. Hutcheson's church in Chattanooga. Brent Vernon came and held a concert Friday night. Saturday Bro. Eads spoke. Some of our Dalton kids were able to be there Friday night.Fourth, I got a really cute computer bag!And Katrin, it is a computer bag, not a you-know-what! LOL!
Quick story (I know you just love these...)
While visiting Jeffrey on the day he arrived home, we were seated in "El Toro," a Mexican restaurant. We were just finishing a scrumptious meal, when we received a phone call. Because I thought the caller would like to speak to Jeffrey, I reached over to hand him the phone. Unfortunately, I let go a little too soon!
Our little phone took a spicy vacation, swimming in a Sea of Salsa!
Last blessing?
One of Jeffrey's buddies, Reis, quickly noticed our little predicament with the phone. He also discovered that, for quite some time now, our phone has needed a replacement battery. When he realized that we had a Verizon supporter, he offered to give us a phone he is no longer able to use because he switched supporters. We got a much needed upgrade, before we even realized that the mouthpiece on our little phone is, ... well, still on vacation.
