The Promised Update

Well, Folks, the moment you've been waiting for . . .

my announcement!

I would like to say that to all the guys who's hearts this may be breaking (whoever you are, I don't know you), it's going to be okay, and you'll find someone else.



I officially have a BF. . .that's right, a boyfriend! Yeah!!!!

I found him on E-bay--er, I mean, E-Hormony, or something like that!

I have a strange sense of humor, I know.

Anyways, I wanted to let you know that God has been (and is) teaching me a lesson in faith and trust.

He DOES own the cattle on a thousand hills, and

He WILL provide for my needs.

The money for my trip to MX has come in,

the ticket was a wonderful price,

and everything is wrapping up quite nicely...most everything.

I'm just a bit nervous about my Spanish.

But we're working on that!

Oh, another thing. I created a blog to put updates about my trip on.

I might transfer the posts here as well, but you still don't get the

over all feel with the background and music and all ;)

The Wanderer Returns!!!

After the most emotional week of my life, I sit--rather, stand--at the computer trying my very best to get it all on the screen in short enough form that Katrin and Esther will actually take the time to read all of it! Which means, of course, that I'm going to have to skip the rest of my would-be prelude and start in!

First I'd like to say that God did some amazing things this week. . .for me, my friends, and others as well.
Second, I made and improved some great friendships--girls and guys.
Third, I am more determined to learn a lot and work hard when I go to Mexico this summer. . .
OH WAIT! I haven't posted about that, have I? Ok, this summer I plan to fly to MX to work with the Burch family in Salamanca, MX. Some of you dear people have already made contributions, and I just want to shout out and say a HUGE THANK-YOU!!!

Now, Ladies and Germs, I am going to finish this post and go write one about Father's Day. Soon after that, I will post a VERY exciting post about my personal love life, so please stay tuned to "You Gotta Love G.R.I.T.S."
